Who we are
Downs for All is a project of Spiral Sussex, a registered charity in England & Wales (no. 1091044). Spiral Sussex is the data controller. Our address is Spiral Media Centre, Unit 1a Prospect House, The Hyde Business Park, Brighton, BN2 4JE.
What we collect
Only what you type into the "Register your interest" form:
- whether you are registering as an individual, a care home or supported living service, a school, or a community group
- your name, and your organisation's name if you gave one
- your email address, and your phone number if you gave one
- roughly how many people would take part
- which option interests you (transport only, transport and workshop, or not sure)
- anything you chose to tell us in the free-text box
If you tell us about access needs in the free-text box, that may include health information. We only use it to plan the right vehicle and the right support. You do not have to tell us anything there.
Why we collect it
- to contact you as the scheme takes shape and, if it goes ahead, to tell you how to book
- to plan routes and pick-up points
- to work out how many seats, and how many accessible seats, we need
- to understand how much interest there is so that we can plan the scheme
We rely on your consent, which you give by ticking the box on the form. For access-needs information we rely on your explicit consent. You can withdraw it at any time by contacting us.
Where it goes
When you press "Register my interest", your details are stored on Spiral's own server and emailed to the Downs for All team at Spiral. They are not sold, shared or passed to anyone outside Spiral Sussex. We do not use them for anything except Downs for All.
How long we keep it
Until Downs for All launches and you decide whether to become a member, and for no more than 12 months after that. If the scheme does not go ahead we delete the list. You can ask us to delete your details at any time.
Cookies and analytics
This website does not set cookies and does not track you across other websites. We do not run any analytics at the moment.
Your rights
You can ask to see the information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. Email admin@spiralsussex.org or call 01273 111 900. If you are unhappy with how we have handled your information you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk or on 0303 123 1113.
